Molloy Basketball Star Signs With German Team
Harley Fuller now plays for TuS Treis-Karden of the German Regionaliga.
Former Molloy men's basketball guard Harley Fuller recently joined TuS Treis-Karden of the German Regionaliga after signing a contract to play in professional, international league. Fuller, who spent just one year with the Lions in 2009-10, averaged 8.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He also dished out 181 assists, which broke the school's single-season record.
In addition, Fuller posted four double-doubles last season, including one in the East Coast Conference Tournament opening round match-up against New York Institute of Technology on March 3.
"I am very fortunate to have the parents and family that I have, who were nothing but supportive over the course of my basketball career, and for that, I know I'm blessed," he said. "I'm also fortunate to have had the opportunity to play for some great local coaches, including Charlie Marquardt at Molloy College. Without them, I might not even be in the position that I am in today, playing with TuS Treis-Karden in Germany."
