Hispanic Brotherhood of RVC Hosts Annual Scholarship Gala
Four worthy high school seniors received $1,000 college scholarships.
Four worthy, hard-working local high school seniors of Hispanic descent were honored by the Hispanic Brotherhood Society of Rockville Centre with $1,000 college scholarships.
seniors Richard and Leandro Castillo and Nathaniel Cabrera were honored at the gala, along with Oceanside High School senior Nahomy Acevedo.
RVC Editor Anthony Bottan presented plaques to Castillo and Acevedo, as he was a past recipient of the Brotherhood's college scholarship.
