Post-Freeze, Where Are The Worst Potholes in Rockville Centre?

Are there lingering pre-freeze ones? Have new ones popped up since the "polar vortex" made its exit?

Although winter is far from over, this freeze/thaw/freeze cycle of winter weather could begin wreaking havoc on local roads. And you know what that means for drivers - potholes.

According to Marc Herbst, executive director of the Long Island Contractors’ Association, "ruinous thaw and freeze allows for a constant runoff of water into the smallest cracks in the street only to have it expand when the temperature drops below freezing."

“It is Mother Nature’s version of a jack hammer and we have many weeks to go before this cycle comes to an end,” he said.

So we want to know where the worst potholes are in the Rockville Centre? Are there lingering pre-freeze ones? Have new ones popped up since the vortex made its exit? Tell us below in the comments!

If you're careful, take a picture of a pothole and post it here to Road Rage for your neighbors to see.
