Readers' Choice Winner: Golden Reef Diner
The Sunrise Highway eatery won with 80 percent of the vote.
Residents have spoken out on where they think the best pancakes are served in Rockville Centre.
Patch called out for nominees and after 47 votes were entered in our poll, was the overwhelming winner, capturing 80 percent of the votes (38). finished with 19 percent of the votes (9).
The Golden Reef Diner has fed Rockville Centre residents for nearly three decades. It is known for great traditional breakfast items like western omelettes and pancakes, as well as signature Greek dishes like falafels and pita wraps. It is open for 24-hours on Friday and Saturday, and the late-night crowd can pick and choose from the breakfast, lunch or dinner menus. The diner also has fresh pastries, cookies and cakes delivered daily.
