Town Hosts 9/11 Memorial, Supervisor's Cup Roster Announced

A weekly look-in at news in the Town of Hempstead.

The Town of Hempstead hosted its annual 9/11 Memorial Service Tuesday at Point Lookout Beach.

At the 11th anniversary this year, an interactive program helped facilitate a connection between the victims of September 11th and those attending the ceremony. By writing the names of victims and other appropriate messages on a "Heroes of 9/11 Panorama," neighbors helped keep alive the legacy of love created by those who perished at Ground Zero.
