Tell Us: Tougher Texting and Driving Laws

Teens will lose their junior or probationary license for two months if caught texting while driving, according to new legislation passed into law Wednesday.

With texting and driving tickets skyrocketing 234 percent and cellphone-related crashes increasing 143 percent in less than ten years, legislators are creating more laws to crack down on mobile phone usage in the drivers' seat.

Should there be stricter penalties for texting and driving? Should laws be harder on teens or should they be the same for all age groups? What is more important: laws or enforcement?
