ATTENTION: I have it on good authority that the Molloy/Murray Centennial Field give away plan will be discussed tonight. This agenda item was conveniently left out of the Village Boards Agenda posting on the RVC Village Hall website. So, if you care about the Mayor giving away our parks to allow Molloy to build a NCAA baseball stadium, close down two little league fields and build a college soccer field by the RVC DPW right smack dab in the middle of our Mill River neighborhood without any input from the residents, please make a special effort to attend tonight's meeting at 8:00 PM at the Village Hall. Let's protect our neighborhood from politicians who act on their own. Who chose not to follow the approved May 2009 Planning Board decision on Molloy Public Square proposal. This decision requires Molloy College to come back to the Planning Board on any applications for sports facilities built in RVC. At the minimum, we need to apply the Planning Board requirement on man made structures over 10,000 sq. feet. The artificial turf is man made. In this case it should be look at just like a man made public pool which is on and below the surface. Don't let the Mayor skirt the law by granting Molloy a permit which in reality is a lease. By ignoring the Planning Boards decision the Mayor basically nullifies the Planning Board decision and opens the door for Molly to change anything they want from that decision. This is my opinion and I hope it sparks your interest.

Not sure what details they will be covering, but the website does mention the following: SEQRA Resolution for Skelos Field Bid and Molloy Agreement _________________________ New Bid for Tighe Field New Bid for Klein Field Maybe they're burying the sordid details in one of those bullets?
