Four Seek Seats on RVC Village Board in Tuesday Election

Rockville Centre residents have the opportunity Tuesday to elect two village board trustees and village justice.

Four men — two incumbents and two newcomers — are seeking votes in an at-large election for two-year terms on the village board. The board oversees the passing of local laws, established an annual budget and sets policy in the village.

Village Justice Kevin P. McDonough, who was first elected in 2009, is unchallenged on the ballot for a four-year term. Judges decide cases such as parking tickets, moving violations and zoning code violations in the village.
