Board Recap: Trustees Discuss Molloy Parking Deal

Board will also honor owner of Sunrise Highway Taco Bell for its renovations on Monday.

The Rockville Centre Village Board discussed entering into a new deal with to lease 100 spots in Municipal Parking Field No. 12 for a nine-month span

Trustees at Thursday's briefing session discussed charging Molloy between $240 and $310 a space, and possibly pro-rating the deal because the college would only use the lot for nine months out of the year.

Trustee Ed Oppenheimer said he felt the deal shouldn't be pro-rated, and that Molloy should pay the same amount per spot as South Nassau Communities Hosptial. South Nassau currently pays $290 a spot for 150 spaces in Lot 12 over a one-year span.
