Board also conducts annual organization meeting.

The Village Board approved a $54,900 bid for the restoration of Tighe Field at Tuesday's briefing session.

The upgrade to Tighe Field was awarded to the lowest bidder, R&R Landscaping, at a price of $54,900. Officials said the work will include: turning the grass over, bringing in 500 yards of top soil, creating a crown to help drainage, laying down rolls of sod and readjusting sprinkler heads.

The board also approved a resolution for a community garden to be built on the village pipeline property. Trustees also approved a revised agreement for the Woodlands Firehouse.

After the 6 p.m. briefing session, the Village Board conducted its annual re-organization meeting. For a full list of those appointed to positions by the Village Board, click here.

This sounds good to me. I know from my daily interactions that I am with the majority of RVC residents that are happy that our fields are being upgraded.
