Saturday's funeral for Marine Lance Cpl. Greg Buckley Jr., the Oceanside native who was killed in Afghanistan last week, is being held at St. Agnes Cathedral at 2 p.m. Quealy Place will be closed down for service.

On Aug. 8 at 10:20 p.m., Freddy A. Rodriguez, 27, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with five counts of second-degree assault after police units responded to a disturbance allegedly caused by the defendant on the street in front of his home earlier in the evening at about 6 p.m.; the assault charges were the result of what officials said were injuries to police officers caused by the defendant.
