Two employees were arrested for unauthorized practice at an Oceanside Acupuncturist Friday afternoon, one of whom was also charged with prostitution.
According to Nassau County detectives, an undercover operation determined that Hua Yang, 51, and Zhenyun He, 59, both of Flushing, were practicing massage therapy without a license while working at Acupuncture, located at 433 Merrick Road.
Police said Yang also offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money.
Both defendants were taken into custody around 3:50 p.m. without incident.
The defendants were charged with unauthorized practice of a crime. Additionally, Yang was charged with prostitution. They will be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
