Dina Lohan, 51, of Merrick, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Lohan is due back in court for sentencing on June 3. She is expected to receive a conditional discharge, 100 hours of community service, driver’s license revocation and installation of an interlock device for a period of one year, participation in a drinking driver program and victims impact panel, a fine of $2,600, and a $483 surcharge.

Lohan was pulled over on Sept. 12, 2013, at 11 p.m. by New York State Police, who say she was traveling 77 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour speed zone along the Northern State Parkway in Oyster Bay.

She was arrested by police later that night for speeding and for having a blood-alcohol level of .20 percent.

Unfortunately for a first time offender this is the average punishment. I would like to see a firing squad myself. In Minnesota they have what is called Whiskey plates. If you get convicted of DWI you are issued new plates that start with the letter W followed by numbers. PE. W35478. So everyone knows your a drunk. So if the firing squad is to much maybe NY could do this

First offence should be jail time. Maybe that would stop some repeat offenders. Their whole family is messed up. Ugh.
