Crimes Nearby: Prostitution Arrests, DWI and Drug Possession

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Adam Sider, 47, of Central Islip, was arrested on Aug. 4 at 12:30 a.m. on an open warrant for commercial activity in a State Park .
  • Bryan Griffiths, 32, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Aug. 5 at 10:37 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated in connection with an auto accident at Merrick Road and Ocean Avenue.
  • Dylan Lanz, 21, of East Rockaway, was arrested on Aug. 7 at 11:15 p.m. and charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, which occurred in Parking Field No. 10.
  • Salvatore Rutigliano, 33, of East Rockaway, was arrested on Aug. 8 at 8:17 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, and a vehicle and traffic law violation on Hempstead Avenue.
  • Ryan Blitz, 24, of Uniondale, was arrested on Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. and charged with patronizing a prostitute,which occurred at the

  • Jasue Gamboa, 22, of Ulster Park, was arrested on Aug. 11 at 8:50 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle which occurred at Charles Street and Jefferson Avenue.
  • Sonnia Torres, 38, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Aug. 12 at 8:50 p.m. and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and several other moving violations occurring at Merrick Road and Columbus Drive.
  • Tian Li Shun, 45, of Flushing, was arrested on Aug. 14 at 2:05 p.m. and charged with trademark counterfeiting, which occurred on Atlantic Avenue.
  • Kevin Ramsey, 36, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Aug. 13 at 8:55 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana eastbound on Sunrise Highway.
  • Sergio Villarroel, 45, of Elmhurst, was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with second-degree harassment,which occurred on Merrick Road.
  • Victor Gonzalez, 49, of Lynbrook, was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with first-degree harassment, which occurred on Davison Ave.
  • Glenn Mielinis, 48, of East Rockaway, was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt from an event occurring on Hampton Road.
  • Jonathon Grillo, 22, of Great Neck, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and several other moving violations occurring on Hempstead Avenue.
  • Melvin Cruz, 58, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway.
  • Howard Patton, 30, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with third-degree possession of a weapon, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to signal a turn on Sunrise Highway.
  • Jasper Pratt, 23, of Cedarhurst, was arrested on Aug. 17 and charged with possession of marijuana, which occurred at Sunrise Highway and Peninsula Boulevard.
  • Gregory Desir, 25, of Freeport, was arrested on Aug. 19 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating unregistered motor vehicle, and several other moving violations occurring on Horton Avenue.
  • James Williams, 47, of Freeport, was arrested on Aug. 21 and charged with an open alcoholic container warrant.
