Crimes Nearby: Lynbrook Residents Busted for Marijuana Possession

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook, Malverne and Nassau County Police Departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Arrests

  • On April 1 at 7:50 p.m., Peter Guilbes Jr., 40, of Elmont, was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters, located at 1 Columbus Drive.
  • On April 4 at 12:20 a.m., Christian F. Valencia, 25, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and inadequate muffler on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.
  • On April 4 at 6:55 p.m., Liu Ai Du, 59, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice and prostitution at 121A Broadway in Lynbrook. The defendant, while employed as a massage therapist at The Massage Center, performed a massage without being licensed by the State of New York.
  • On April 4 at 11:57 p.m., Zachary N. Jacobson, 25, of Richmond Hill, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Vincent Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On April 5 at 1 a.m., Tyler E. Bond, 18, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Noble Street in Lynbrook.
  • On April 5 at 11:50 p.m. Jason A. Mantia, 36, of Long Beach, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On April 5 at 4:25 p.m., Marvin Leon, 21, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On April 8 at 4:30 p.m., Jamichael C. Ingram, 33, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Park Place in Lynbrook.

  • Identity Theft: At 11:10 a.m. on April 2, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) used their social security number to file a tax return with the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Grand Larceny: At 4:30 p.m. on April 3, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) entered his car, which was parked in his driveway on Union Place in Lynbrook. The person(s) removed his wallet, which contained his NYS driver’s license, three credit cards and $80.
  • Attempted Burglary: At 9:55 p.m. on April 4, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to enter their residence, located at 144 Hempstead Ave. in Lynbrook, through a side door.
