Crimes Nearby: Lynbrook Man Arrested for Animal Cruelty

Arrests

  • On May 13 at 6:35 p.m., Michael C. Greco, 24, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and equipment violation on Roosevelt Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On May 13 at 8:55 p.m., Patrick F. Lozinski, 37, of Lexington, N.C., was arrested and charged with criminal sale of marijuana on Broadway in Lynbrook.
  • On May 14 at 8:15 a.m., Anthony N. Coleman, 40, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Lynbrook Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On May 14 at 7:09 p.m., Michael Valentino, 31, of Great Neck, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation , speeding, failure to signal, uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and equipment violation on Horton Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On May 15 at 6:40 a.m., Phillip L. Lindsey, 51, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with assault (warrant) on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On May 15 at 3:40 p.m., Michael J. Canty, 54, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals on Washington Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On May 16 at 3:40 p.m., Sean M. Walsh, 40, of Ridge, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to signal on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On May 17 at 9:10 p.m., Luis A. Jimenez, 20, of Oceanside, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.
  • On May 18 at 8:20 p.m., Efrain N. Cruz, 21, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and equipment violation on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On May 19 at 1:55 a.m., Trevor Lawry, 27, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and improper lane use on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.
  • On May 20 at 8 p.m., Michael P. Lattari, 25, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
Case Reports
  • Grand Larceny: At 7:45 a.m. on May 13, the manager of AHRC, located at 182A Merrick Road in Lynbrook, reported that two catalytic converters were taken from their 2012 and 2010 Ford Vans which were parked in the rear parking area. The catalytic converters were taken between 3 p.m. on May 10 and 7 a.m. on May 13. They are valued at $3,000.
  • Identity Theft: At 4 p.m. on May 13, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) changed the name on their Verizon wireless account at which time five cell phones were purchased. The phones are valued at $2,298.
  • Grand Larceny: At 4:45 p.m. on May 16, a complainant reported that their wallet, which was on the counter of the Sunrise Dollar Store, located at 475 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook, was taken by an unknown female. The wallet contained their Capital One Debit Card along with $200 in cash. The female is described as 65 years old, slim build, black and grey hair, medium complexion wearing dark pants and a multi-colored shirt.
  • Grand Larceny: At 1:10 p.m. on May 17, a complainant reported that a former employee removed assorted tools from a house on Maple Avenue in Lynbrook. The value of the tools is $ 3,000.
  • Petit Larceny: At 8:15 p.m. on May 19, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) took their Apple iPad from inside of Sportime, located at 175 Merrick Road in Lynbrook. The value of the iPad is $700.
