Criminal Mischief – At 6:30 p.m. on March 6, the complainant reports that their cell phone was damaged on Davison Avenue.

Identity Theft – At 12:30 p.m. on March 8, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) did open a credit card account using their name and charged $564 to the account.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – At 12 p.m. on March 10, the complainant, Avis Car Rental located at 55 Sunrise Highway, reports that their auto, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, was rented on Dec. 26 and never returned by the customer.

Attempted Identity Theft - At 3 p.m. on March 10, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) did attempt to gain access to two credit reports in the complainant’s name without their permission.

Petit Larceny - At 8:38 p.m. on March 10, the complainant reports that their gold ring, valued at $400 and $25 in assorted currency was taken from their residence on Charles Street.

Petit Larceny - At 9:45 p.m. on March 10, the complainant reports that two males entered their store, 7-11 at 169 Atlantic Ave, and removed two 18 packs of Bud Light beer at which time they exited the store without paying. The only description of the males was one wearing a black hoodie and one wearing a gray hoodie. The beer is valued at $38.72.

Arrests 

March 7 at 9:40 p.m. - Ryan Clark, 19, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Watkins Place. 

March 7 at 9:40 p.m. - John E. Colin, 19, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Watkins Place. 

March 7 at 9:40 p.m. -  William J. Flatley, 19, of East Atlantic Beach, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Watkins Place. 

March 8 at 3:19 a.m. - Nicole Diiorio, 32, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) on Peninsula Boulevard.

March 8 at 10:19 p.m. - Carl L. Piro, 36, of Keansburg, NJ was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to stop at a stop sign on Lakeview Avenue.

March 9 at 3:34 p.m. - Thomas D. Lopez, 21, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and resisting arrest on Roosevelt Avenue.

March 11 at 1:45 p.m. - Dominic J. Anastasio, 23, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with uninsured motor vehicle (warrant) on Earle Avenue.

March 12 at 12:01 a.m. - Jelani Fernado, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Highway.
