April 9 - at 9:48 p.m., C.R. Decarmine, 27, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and an open warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation on Broadway.

April 10 - at 2:08 a.m., Charles J. Webb, 26, of Queens Village, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and defective headlights on Sunrise Highway.

April 10 - at 8:30 p.m., Jordan C. Williams, 22, of Malverne, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the parking area of 601- 693 Sunrise Highway.

April 10 - at 8:30 p.m., Jenna A. Rimbos, 27, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the parking area of 601- 693 Sunrise Highway.

April 11 - at 11:40 p.m., Daniel Uhl 33, of, Bayside, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and assault on Harrison Avenue.

April 14 - at 6:18 a.m., Marcello Ulmer, 47, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and improper lane usage on Peninsula Boulevard.

April 16 -  at 1:35 p.m., Tyler Newberry, 19, of Lakeview, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary for an incident that occurred on Buckingham Place.

April 16 - at 10 p.m., Matthew W. Graziano, 22, of Long Beach, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and failure to obey a traffic control device on Broadway.

April 18 - at 9:45 a.m., Thomas F. Lurie, 41, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (2 counts) on Whitehall Street.

April 18 - at 10:10 p.m.,  Walter Szpak, 55, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and uninsured motor vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard.

April 19 - at 6:10 p.m., Flemie T. Edge, 36, of Uniondale, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (warrant) and defective brake lights on Hempstead Avenue.

April 21 - at 2:14 a.m., Kevin J. Quinteros, 26, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving slow (impede traffic) on Sunrise Highway.

April 22 -  at 9:35 a.m., Christopher Ryan, 46, of Hewlett, was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol in public (warrant) on Sunrise Highway.

On April 22 at 11:40 a.m., Hammam S. Sharhan, 19, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, no seat belt-driver (warrant) and possession of more than one valid driver’s license (warrant) on Peninsula Boulevard.

On April 23 at 5:30 p.m., Terance R. Hess, 47, of Baldwin, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Sunrise Highway.

Case Reports

Criminal Mischief – At 1:05 p.m. on April 5, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) slashed the tire of their vehicle which was parked in the driveway of their residence on Lenox Avenue. The value of the tire is $200.

Reckless Endangerment – At 8:53 a.m. on April 6, the complainant reports that while walking in the private parking area of the BP Gas Station, located at 710 Merrick Road, a Black Hyundai Sonata drove up behind the complainant. The operator of the vehicle started to honk their horn and yelled at the complainant to move out of their way or they were going to hit them. The complainant continued walking while the operator of the vehicle repeated several times that they were going to hit the complainant. The operator then moved forward striking the complainant. The vehicle then left the scene at which time the complainant observed that the vehicle was bearing a Florida registration.

Identity Theft – At 1 p.m. on April 6, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) made three unauthorized charges on their debit card in the amount of $1,048.88.

Identity Theft - At 6:19 p.m. on April 9, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) filed a tax return with the IRS and New York State using their daughter’s social security number.

Grand Larceny - At 8 p.m. on April 12, the complainant, Pay Back Repo, reports that an unknown person(s) removed parts from a key making machine and a Sprint Wi-Fi card. The value of the property is $4,199. The property was taken between April 6 and April 12.

Identity Theft - At 9:30 a.m. on April 17, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) opened a Cablevision account in their name create a bill in the amount of $135.25.

Suspicious/Unusual Incident - At 9:20 a.m. on April 17, the complainant, a 15-year-old female, stated that while she was walking southbound on Atlantic Avenue, 50’ s/o Sunrise Highway, she observed a white man in a parked, green colored van. The van had a NYS Registration with the possible beginning of “DMS.” The male was looking at the complainant and had his gray t-shirt pulled up towards his chest. The male’s actions made the complainant nervous at which time she notified the personnel of the where she is a student. No further description of the male or van.

Burglary - At 11:20 p.m. on April 20, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) pried open the side door of their residence at 87 Union Ave. and entered the residence. A lock box containing $975 was removed from the house. The burglary occurred between 8:45 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. on April 20.

Criminal Mischief - At 2 p.m. on April 23, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) cut two Master combination locks from their gate and left them on their rear steps. The value of the locks is $30.
