Crime Watch: Theft of Cash, Copper Piping Reported at Molloy College

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the RVC Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • On June 13, two plumbers at in Rockville Centre reported a theft of $1,313.81 in cash and $4,390 worth of copper piping from a residence hall that is under construction. According to police, the plumbers believe the incident took place between the hours of 6:30 p.m. on June 11 and 6:30 p.m. on June 13.
  • Between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 10 p.m. on June 14, an unknown person or persons reportedly damaged a rear glass door to a residence on Winding Road in Rockville Centre. A laptop computer and foreign currency were reported stolen.
  • On June 16, police say the manager of on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported a theft of saw blades and grinding stones valued at $413.32. According to police, the manager reported that the incident took place sometime between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. the same day.

I have two comments: If you want to contact the Village, contact Mayor Francis X. Murray. I don'tRead More know what block you live on. But on my block, the leaf blowers are DAILY and at ANY time of day. It is horrible noise pollution.

What about the prostitutes that stay at the area hotels. we stayed at best western on sunriseRead More highway after sandy and we were approached at least 3x's. besides getting bed bug bites. The manager said its a problem in all the hotels
