Crime Watch: Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested on Sunrise Highway

Arrests:

On Jan. 19 at approximately 3:45 p.m., Eunice Davis, 56, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for forcible touching following a police investigation at his residence.

On Jan. 20 at approximately 9:51 a.m., Anna Infante, 25, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault following an investigation by police personnel at her residence. 

On Jan. 20 at approximately 7:05 p.m., Shamard M. Gooding, 23, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance following an investigation by police anti-crime personnel of narcotics activity in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. 

On Jan. 21 at 10:42 p.m., David C. Sharkey, 42, of Rockville Centre, was arrested at his residence for second-degree criminal contempt following an investigation by police personnel regarding a reported violation of an order of protection.

On Jan. 21 at 9:32 p.m., Mark Hanson, 45, of Rockville Centre was arrested for third-degree burglary and a trespass warrant following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 23 at 6:05 p.m., Robert M. Myles, 41, of Washington D.C. was arrested for third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle following a police investigation on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Burglary (attempt):

On Jan. 22 at 10:15 a.m., a complainant from S. Marion Place in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a window to the side door of the residence sometime between Jan. 21 at 10 p.m. and Jan. 22 at 9:30 a.m. No access was gained and there was no reported loss.

Larceny:

On Jan. 18 at 4:30 p.m., a complainant from Broadway in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger window to her 2006 Lexus while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 5 between 4-4:05 p.m. and a pocketbook was taken without permission.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Strathmore Lane in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side rear window to her 2006 Lexus while it was parked at her residence between 12:01 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. and stole binoculars valued at $200.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Windsor Place in Oceanside reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side window to her 2010 Honda while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 8 between 10:25 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. and stole a pocketbook.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Hamilton Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side front window to her 2009 Honda while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 8 between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and stole a pocketbook.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Forbes Place in Freeport reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side front window to her 1999 GMC while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 8 between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and stole a pocketbook.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Saint Agnes Cathedral at 29 Quealy Place in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 13 and Jan. 18, unknown person(s) entered a garage and stole two Ariens snow blowers valued at $3,000.

On Jan. 23, a complainant from Warwick Road in Elmont reported that sometime between 1-3 a.m., unknown person(s) stole her unattended pocketbook while she was at the Cannon Blackthorne located at 49 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

Criminal Mischief:

On Jan. 18 at 9 a.m., complainant owner from Rockville Barber Shop at 224 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a front window to his business sometime between Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 9 a.m.

On Jan. 19, a complainant from MD office at 282 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 10:45 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged a door window valued at $950.47.

Property Damage:

On Jan. 19, a complainant from 148th Road in Rosedale reported that sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., unknown person(s) damaged the rear bumper to his 2006 Infiniti while it was parked at Walbaums at 399 Ocean Ave. in Rockville Centre.

Unusual Incident:

On Jan. 19, a complainant from Sherman Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 14 and Jan. 19, unknown person(s) made a telephone transfer of $3,500 from his Capital One account to an account in New Jersey without authorization.
