Crime Watch: RVC Resident Arrest for Assault

Recent police activity as reported by the RVCPD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On May 10 at 11:25 a.m., Joshua A. Daniels, 22, of Hempstead, was arrested for making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Hempstead Avenue and Stonewell Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On May 11 at 5:01 a.m., Sha-Ron R. Hicks, 28, of Rockville Centre was arrested for assault in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief in the fourth degree following an investigation by police personnel at his residence.
Burglary
  • On May 9 at 4:27 p.m., a complainant from Driscoll Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) damaged a side door and entered their residence. There was no reported loss at the time of report.
Criminal Trespass
  • On May 10 at 10:54 p.m., a complainant from Princeton Road in Rockville Centre reported that she observed an unknown male in her backyard who then climbed over a rear fence into a neighbor’s yard. Check of area provided no results.
