Crime Watch: RVC Men Arrested for Assault

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

• On Sept. 4 at 11:55 p.m., David Perez, 20, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for assault in the third degree following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of S. Forest Avenue and Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
• On Sept. 5 at 3:10 a.m., Xavier Perez, 19, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for assault in the third degree following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of S. Forest Avenue and Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

Burglary

• On Sept. 7 at 3:30 p.m., a complainant from S. Park Avenue reported that sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. unknown person(s) entered her apartment and stole assorted jewelry valued at $800 from a bedroom.
• On Sept. 8 at 11:40 a.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane reported that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. unknown person(s) entered her residence and stole a wallet containing $200.

Harassment

• On Sept. 9 at 3:10 PM, a complainant reported that an unknown youth slapped him in the right side of the head, causing no injury, while he was working as a security guard at the Rockville Centre Public Library.
