Question, does anyone know what happened on Saturday afternoon around 2:30pm off of Sunrise near the Karp dealership? We were driving on Sunrise when at least 6 cop cars all showed up at once (some driving over the median) and the officers then began running towards something or someone...it was crazy

@Question. These reports are sent to me from the RVC PD. When I get them, I post them.

Sounds like they robbed the guy and escaped through the golden gate and had a car waiting on overlook lane. Probably had to be someone from RVC or someone who knows about the cut through. I remember riding through there all the time on my bike over 25 years ago. It was a good way to get to friends who lived on the north side without riding on Hempstead ave. I'm surprised residents on both sides of the fence hadn't petitioned to have it closed off years ago. FYI to moderator: I'm one of 2 "Tom's" who posted on the Roxen Rd assault thread. Please let me know if I can cancel this log in an sign up again.

It was a stolen vehicle chase. The perp bailed out and it turned into a foot pursuit. I believe a collar was made.
