Crime Watch Part Two: RVC Home Spray Painted with Red Paint

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Unusual Incident:

On Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m., a complainant from Cedar Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) made unauthorized debit transactions from her Citibank account totaling $142.66.

On Feb. 18 at 8 p.m., police personnel located a broken window valued at $1,000 at the Diocese of Rockville Centre, located at 50 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On Feb. 18 at 7:45 p.m., a complainant from Oxford Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 6:50 p.m. and 7:20 p.m., unknown person(s) spray painted the front door of his residence and his 2007 Toyota with red paint without authorization.

On Feb. 19 at 2:32 a.m., complainant owner from the Beach House Bar, located at 21 S. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that an unknown male punched the front window valued at $500 and broke it without authorization.

Graffiti:

On Feb. 19 at 2:35 p.m., a complainant reported that there was graffiti located on a billboard on Oceanside Road north of Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Property Damage:

On Feb. 14 at 4:52 p.m., a complainant from Hilton Avenue in Hempstead reported that her 2004 Ford was damaged by unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 26 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Fire:

On Feb. 14 at 11:50 a.m., a complainant from Voorhis Avenue in Rockville Centre reported a basement fire at her residence. RCFD extinguished the fire that resulted in extensive damage to the basement of the home.

Harassment:

On Feb. 16 at 4:40 p.m., a complainant from Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) left a note on her motor vehicle parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 8 between 2-8 a.m. causing her annoyance and alarm.
