Crime Watch Part Two: Property Damage and ID Theft

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Unusual Incident:

On Sept. 9 at 10:55 a.m., complainant principal from South Side High School, located at 140 Shepherd St. in Rockville Centre, reported that unknown person(s) made suspicious telephone calls to the police department regarding an alleged unfounded incident on school grounds.

On Sept. 9 at 2:25 p.m., a complainant from Vernon Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) charged her Apple account for two iPhones valued at $200 and added an additional user on account without authorization.

Fire:

On Sept. 12 at 10 a.m., a N. Forest Avenue resident reported damage to her apartment door lock. Damage was result of RCFD forcing entry on Sept. 11 at 9:06 a.m. to investigate a smell of smoke.

Property Damage:

On Sept. 8 at 3 p.m., a complainant from Greenhouse Alternative High School, located at 189 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that the entry door valued at $700 was damaged by unknown means.

On Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m., a complainant from S.Kensington Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., the driver side window to his 1999 Ford was damaged by unknown means.

On Sept. 10 at 1:20 a.m., a complainant from Grant Avenue in Baldwin reported that the store front window to Rhea Nichols Shoe Store, located 30 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre was broken by unknown means.

Graffiti:

On Sept. 11 at 10:40 a.m., a complainant from Hamilton Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. and Sept. 11 at 10:18 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged a fence located at Robustello and Sons, located at 380 N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre with graffiti.

On Sept. 13, a complainant from Reeve Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) placed graffiti on his driveway.
