I've said it several times. It's time to leave RVC. It is not a nice place to live anymore. Violent crime is on the rise. I do alot of business in RVC and the owners of the business express the same concerns. One thing for sure the restaurants are great. I frequent them often but as soon as I finish my meal I'm looking over my sholder wondering if I'm going to get robbed or beaten like the DiPerna kid did. I love the 5 towns although sometimes trouble makers come there to commit crimes. I'm saddened for some of the people in RVC. TIme to get out.

Look at crime stats all over. Places on the North Shore just as wild. I believe Our elected officials and Police are doing a great job. Do you know where most of the people committing crime come from in this village. NOT here, they are from surrounding areas roosevelt, hempstead, elmont. when you read the police arrest reports look at the address. not from RVC. If you see something say something. Call the police if you see 10 kids hanging out behind the movie theatre, harassing patrons of the village. They will be dealt with...If your not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Be proactive
