Crime Watch, Part Two: Assaults at Miceli's Pizza, 7-Eleven

Assault

  • On Dec. 1 at 4:26 a.m., a complainant from Hewlett reported that he was assaulted by an unknown male while at 7-Eleven, located at 324 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On Dec. 2 at 2:59 a.m., a complainant from Lindenhurst reported that he was assaulted by an unknown male while at Mr. Miceli Pizzeria and Restaurant, located at 19 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre.

Larceny

  • On Nov. 29 at 1:45 p.m., a Harvard Avenue resident reported her Apple iPad was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway overnight on Oct. 31.
  • On Nov. 29 at 8:20 p.m., a Molloy College student reported her iPhone was stolen from a lounge on Nov. 28.
  • On Nov. 30 at 10:12 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., unknown person(s) stole his Apple iPhone, valued at $200, while at the Recreation Center, located at 111 Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On Nov. 30 at 10:45 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., unknown person(s) stole $10 from his unattended coat while at the Recreation Center, located at 111 Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On Nov. 30 at 10:02 p.m., a complainant from CVS, located at 598 Merrick Road, reported that unknown person stole undetermined property and fled scene.
  • On Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m., a complainant from Lynbrook reported that sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. unknown person(s) stole his Echo chainsaw valued at $700 while at U-Haul, located at 230 Maple Ave. in Rockville Centre.
  • On Dec. 5 at 7:41 p.m., a complainant from Valley Stream reported that on Dec. 4 sometime between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., unknown person(s) stole $150 from a locker at Dolphin Fitness Center, located at 279 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

  • On Dec. 2 at 2:30 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) took a loan valued at $2,510 using her personal information without authorization since Sept. 27.
  • On Dec. 3 at 8:56 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident reported that unknown person(s) made unauthorized purchases from his T.D. Bank account without authorization.

Property Damage

  • On Nov. 26 at 11:20 a.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 26, a glass door to South Nassau Dental Art was damaged by unknown means.
  • On Nov. 30 at 12:15 a.m., an Ozone Park resident reported his vehicle was damaged by unknown means while it was parked in the lot at King Kullen, located at 127 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
  • On Nov. 30 at 6:20 p.m., a complainant from East Meadow reported that sometime between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., her 2012 Nissan motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked at 127 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

  • On Dec. 4 at 9:45 a.m., a mechanic at a service station on Sunrise Highway reported a NYS Inspection certificate was missing.
  • On Dec. 5 at 9:05 a.m., a complainant from Oakdale Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, she lost a diamond stud earring valued at $5,000 in the vicinity of Rockville Centre.

Graffiti

  • On Dec. 4 at 12 p.m., graffiti was observed on signs in the vicinity of DeMott Avenue and on a signal box at Sunrise Highway and N. Forest Avenue.

Harassment

  • On Nov. 27 at 9:05 a.m., an employee at Mercy Medical Center reported being annoyed and alarmed as the result of a verbal confrontation that occurred with another employee on Nov. 25.
  • On Nov. 28 at 8:21 p.m., a complainant from Bulson Road in Rockville Centre reported that a former friend telephoned her residence causing annoyance and alarm.
  • On Nov. 28 at 2:48 PM, a complainant from Meehan Lane in Rockville Centre reported that unknown persons verbally harassed her causing annoyance and alarm.
  • On Nov. 30 at 4:45 PM, two complainants from Southhold reported being harassed by two acquaintances while outside Vibe Lounge, located at 60 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre at approximately 1 a.m.
