WOW. Lots and Lots of driveway thefts. Makes you wonder: "Is anyone patroling the neighborhood?" Great scene from Die Hard with a vengence: Kid #1: It's Christmas. You could steal City Hall (i.e. lack of cops). John McClane: Come on. (Zeus and John take the kids' bikes) Kid #1: My bike? John McClane: Let's go. Come on. Kid #1: That's my bike! Zeus: Yeah, it's Christmas!

I've been hearing about a lot of bicycle thefts all around Long Island and many theft of convenience, like the unlocked cars . Protect your valuables, lock your car (even in your driveway) and don't leave attractive items out on display. If you have a tube key on your bike lock it's time to buy a lock with a flat key or risk having your bike stolen.

what ever happened to "respect the property of others" and "thy shall not steal". Victims shouldn't be berated because they leave stuff on THEIR PROPERTY. Town needs more patrols and a better neighborhood watch.
