Larceny

  • On July 16 at 8:04 p.m., a complainant from N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that at approximately 8 p.m., an unknown male grabbed an Apple iPhone valued at $400 from her hand while in the vicinity of Front Street and N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre. The male suspect reportedly fled on foot northwest through Municipal Parking Field No. 2 in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 17 at 11:54 a.m., a complainant from Oceanside reported that sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m., an unknown person(s) stole $200 from her wallet while at Milk and Honey, located at 232 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 19 at 9:20 a.m., the sales manager from Enterprise Used Car Sales, located at 602 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that sometime between 7:30 p.m. on July 18 and 8:30 a.m. on July 19, an unknown person(s) stole a total of 12 tires/wheels valued at $4,800 from three motor vehicles parked on the Enterprise sales lot.

  • On July 19 at 2:39 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime since 1:30 p.m. on July 16, an unknown person(s) stole a rocking chair valued at $400 and a television stand valued at $200 from her storage unit at The Self Storage Center, located at 250 Maple Ave. in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 19 at 4:27 p.m., a complainant from Wright Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 8 p.m. on July 15 and 8 a.m. on July 16, an unknown person(s) stole two bicycles valued at $318.76 and $1,303.49 from an unsecured open garage at the residence.

  • On July 20 at 7:38 p.m., a complainant from Lynbrook reported that on 7:25 p.m. on July 15, a known male stole eight video games valued at $90.92 from Game Stop, located at 311 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 22 at 4:38 a.m., a complainant from Oceanside reported that sometime between 9:35 p.m. on July 21 and 4:30 a.m. on July 22, an unknown person(s) removed $1,000 from a pocketbook that had been left in the restroom of Dunkin Donuts, located at 61 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

  • Unusual Incident

    • On July 15 at 2:10 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that an unknown person(s) made a $700 purchase using his Sears debit card information.

    • On July 18 at 10:10 a.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that an unknown person(s) transferred $3,000 from his Chase checking account to another unknown account.

    • On July 18 at 1:56 p.m., a complainant from Seaford reported that an unknown male approached her while at Molloy College, located at 1000 Hempstead Ave. in Rockville Centre, causing annoyance and alarm.

    Criminal Mischief

    • On July 16 at 8:32 a.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 12:30 p.m. on July 15 and 8:20 a.m. on July 16, an unknown person(s) damaged two signs valued at $500 from St. Mark’s Church, located at 200 Hempstead Ave. in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 19 at 4:30 p.m., a complainant from Valley Stream reported that sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., her 2010 Nissan motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked in the lot at 566 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

  • Property Damage

    • On July 17 at 8:41 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., the driver side rear quarter panel to a 1999 Infiniti motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked at Mercy Medical Center, located at 1000 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

    • On July 20 at 11:42 p.m., a complainant from reported that sometime between 9 p.m. and 11:40 p.m., his 2012 Nissan motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 7 in Rockville Centre.

    Property Lost

    • On July 17 at 9:40 p.m., a complainant from Old Mill Court in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on July 16 she lost a wallet containing personal property while in the vicinity of Rockville Centre.

    • On July 19 at 8:45 a.m., a complainant from Maine Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that she lost her wallet containing personal property while in the vicinity of Rockville Centre.
