Larceny

  • On July 8 at 8 p.m., a security investigator at a pharmacy/retail store on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported the theft of baby formula that occurred on June 24.

  • On July 10 at 5:10 p.m., a manager at a pharmacy/retail store on N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre reported he observed a male subject steal over-the-counter medicine.

  • On July 12 at 11:31 a.m., a complainant from North Babylon reported that at approximately 11:30 a.m., while in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue and Front Street in Rockville Centre, an unknown male attempted to grab an Apple iPhone from her hand. The male suspect reportedly fled on foot northbound on N. Village Avenue with no proceeds.

  • On July 14 at 2:50 p.m., a complainant from N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) removed two bicycles from the side of the residence.

    Criminal Mischief

    • On July 13 at 7:38 a.m., a complainant from Southard Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a tree in front of his residence.

    Property Lost

    • On July 9 at 4:55 p.m., a Fonda Road resident in Rockville Centre reported losing jewelry.

  • On July 9 at 7:30 p.m., an Oceanside resident reported losing her purse on a bus. the purse was later located on the bus and returned to her.

  • On July 11 at 4 p.m., a Reeve Road resident in Rockville Centre reported he lost his expired passport and current visa while at an airport in New Delhi, India, on June 6.
