Graffiti

  • On July 3 at 8:55 p.m., police personnel located graffiti that had been placed on the rear of 205 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 3 at 8:45 p.m., police personnel located graffiti that had been placed on the front of 482 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Property Damage

  • On July 3 at 9:36 p.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane in Rockville Centre reported that a first floor window was damaged by unknown means.
  • On July 6 at 11:30 a.m., a Rockville Centre resident from Lakeview Avenue reported her vehicle was damaged by a fence that fell over.
  • On July 6 at 3 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident from Vernon Avenue reported his vehicle was damaged by unknown means while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 4 overnight.

  • On July 3 at 8:09 a.m., a complainant from S. Kensington Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 7:45 p.m. on July 2 and 8 a.m. on July 3, an unknown person(s) stole personal property from his 1996 Toyota motor vehicle while parked at his residence.

  • On July 4 at 8:59 a.m., a complainant from Baldwin reported that sometime between 7 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., an unknown person(s) stole his 2003 Mercury motor vehicle while parked in front of 165 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre. The stolen motor vehicle was subsequently recovered in front of 37 Lincoln Court in Rockville Centre.

  • On July 5 at 6 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident from N. Marion Place reported his bicycle was stolen from the RVC LIRR station near Front Street during the day.

  • On July 7 at 5:30 p.m., a manager at a pharmacy/retail store on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported the theft of baby formula.

  • On July 7 at 6 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident from Lee Avenue reported the theft of cash from her home.

  • Criminal Mischief

    • On July 4 at 9:35 a.m., a complainant from Dartmouth Street in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on July 3 and 8:50 a.m. on July 4, an unknown person(s) damaged a metal fence at her residence.
