  • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 4 that sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 8:20 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole a red Trek bicycle valued at $300 from the vicinity of Front Street and North Park Avenue.

  • A complainant from Lynbrook reported to police on Sept. 5 that sometime between Sept. 4 at 8 a.m. and Sept. 5 at 8 a.m., an unknown person(s) stole plumbing tools valued at $750 from a work truck parked at Pipemasters Plumbing, located at 80 North Park Ave.

  • A complainant from Freeport reported to police on Sept. 8 that sometime between Sept. 7 at 3 a.m. and Sept. 8 at 12:45 p.m., an unknown person(s) damaged his 2002 Honda motor vehicle and stole auto parts valued at $5,300 while parked in Municipal Parking Field #12.

  • A complainant from  Malverne reported to police on Sept. 8 that sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole a BMX bicycle valued at $250 from the vicinity of 195 Brower Ave.

  • A complainant from Lynbrook reported to police on Sept. 8 that sometime between July 23 and July 27, an unknown person(s) stole $5,500 worth of lottery tickets from Fat Head’s, located 40 North Village Ave.

  • Unusual Incident

    • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 3 at 5:42 p.m. that an unknown person(s) opened a Verizon cell phone account using his personal information and accrued $3,192.64 in charges without authorization.

    • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 3 at 2:34 p.m. that an unknown person(s) told her on the phone that she had won $2.5 million and needed to purchase two $450 Green Dot money cards from Walmart prior to collecting winnings.

  • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 4 at 1:14 p.m. that an unknown person(s) contacted her financial advisor and requested a $15,500 wire transfer without authorization.

  • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 6 at 2:34 p.m. that sometime since Aug. 11, an unknown person(s) made two unauthorized charges totaling $565.73 with her Macy’s credit card.

  • Property Damage

    • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 7 at 6:10 p.m. that sometime between 5 and 6:05 p.m., the passenger window of his 2010 Cadillac was damaged by unknown means while parked in front of Rockville Centre Village Hall, located at 1 College Pl.

    Found Property

    • Police personnel recovered a yellow-gold ring on Sept. 3 at 9:40 a.m. that was found in front of Rockville Centre Village Hall, located at 1 College Pl.
