Crime Watch: DWI Arrest, Car Stolen from Driveway

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

• Dec. 11, 11:41 p.m. on Merrick Road
  Antwuan D. Leazer, 24, of Baldwin was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, and several traffic violations.

• Dec. 12, 4:06 a.m. on Sunrise Highway
  Rachel Huebner, 26, of Las Vegas, Nev. was charged with DWI.

• Dec. 12, 8:09 p.m. on North Centre Avenue
  Alexander Krch, 37, of Freeport, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and traffic violations.

Larceny

• Dec. 13, 8:46 a.m. on Princeton Road
  A complainant reported that between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., an unknown person had stolen a 2007 Infiniti car that was parked in the driveway. On Dec. 16, the same person said between 8 a.m. Dec. 11 and 12 a.m. Dec. 13, someone stole several pieces of jewelry valued at $5,150 from his home.

Unusual Incident

• Dec. 12, 4:27 a.m.
  A woman said someone tried to open an account in her name at Capital One Bank without her permission. She also said someone tried to file a 2012 tax return with the IRS in her name without permission in March.
