Crime Watch: DWI Arrest, Bartenders Busted

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest

  • Harry J. Miller, 53, of Oceanside, was arrested on Sept. 16 at 9:48 p.m. and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of South Long Beach Road.

  • Marla F. Eisenberg, 24, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Sept. 17 at 3:12 a.m. and charged with circumvention of interlock device and violation of restricted license following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 360 Sunrise Highway.

  • John A. Tomeo, 32, of Roosevelt, was arrested on Sept. 20 at 5:01 a.m. and charged with third-degree criminal trespass following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of North Village Avenue.

  • Edward J. Oczkowski, 23, of 3rd Avenue, New York City, was arrested on Sept. 23 at 12:17 a.m. for an open NYC warrant for petit larceny following an investigation by police personnel at Lincoln Avenue and South Park Avenue.

  • Kevin F. McBreen, 42, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on Sept. 23 at 4:06 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel at Sunrise Highway and North Forest Avenue.

  • ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) Violations

    • A 32-year-old Lynbrook resident was issued an appearance ticket on Sept. 17 at 9:22 p.m. for ABC 65-1 sale of alcohol to a person less than 21 following an investigation by police personnel at Dark Horse Bar, located 12 South Park Ave.

  • A 61-year-old West Hempstead resident was issued an appearance ticket on Sept. 17 at 8:41 p.m. for ABC 65-1 sale of alcohol to a person less than 21 following an investigation by police personnel at Prime Catch, located at 41 South Park Ave.

  • Burglary

    • A complainant from Meehan Lane reported to police on Sept. 20 at 11:16 p.m. that sometime between 4:48 and 10:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole a purse containing medication from a bedroom closet in her residence.

    Found Property

    • Police personnel on Sept. 18 found a Tony Hawk bicycle in front of 67 Gateway.
