Crime Watch: Controlled Substance and Assault Arrests
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.
The following information was supplied by the RVC Police. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests:
On Oct. 7 at 1:25 p.m., Rahim Ibm Robinson, 20, of West Hempstead, was arrested for third-degree assault at Home Goods, located at 150 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre following a police investigation regarding an incident that reportedly occurred on Old Mill Court in Rockville Centre on Sept. 18.

On Oct. 8 at 7:33 p.m., Thomas F. Lowerre, 49, of Lynbrook was arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and an open Nassau County bench warrant following a police investigation at 2 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Oct. 7 at 10:55 a.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that an unknown male had entered her bedroom through a first floor apartment window without permission and when confronted, the subject exited the same window and fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were no proceeds taken and the detective follow-up investigation is ongoing.
