Crime Watch: Best Western Worker Robbed of $2K

Arrests

  • On June 17 at 4:54 p.m., Belinda A. Smith, 49, of Freeport, was arrested for petit larceny following an investigation by police personnel at Rite Aid, located at 168 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

  • On June 21 at 10:08 p.m., Ronniesha Highsmith, 23, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with petit larceny at King Kullen on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

  • On June 21 at 8:40 p.m., David C. Murphy III, 40, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree during a disturbance.

  • On June 22 at 4:24 p.m., James G. Hayden, 50, of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with petit larceny at Key Food on Ocean Avenue in Rockville Centre.

  • On June 23 at 11:15 p.m., Glenn C. Parker, 60, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Morris Avenue in Rockville Centre.
  • On  June 24 at 10:43 a.m., Daniel AJ Henry, 25, of Cambria Heights, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an accident investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. Click here to read more about this arrest.
  • Robbery

    • On June 20 at 2:03 a.m., a complainant from Valley Stream reported that she was robbed by an unknown male, unknown female and female acquaintance while working at Best Western, located at 173 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. The reported proceeds were $2,000 cash and five $300 Visa gift cards.
