The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrest:
On Aug. 30 at 4:15 p.m., Kareem J. Walters, 29, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation in the second degree, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation by police personnel on N. Park Avenue.
On Aug. 30 at 5:06 p.m., Tanasia Patricia Engleton, 19, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation by police personnel at her residence.
On Sept. 1 at 10:27 p.m., Daniel F. Read, 43, of North Babylon, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault after a female reported he punched her in the face at a bar on S. Park Avenue.
Harassment:
On Aug. 28 at 3 p.m., a N. Baldwin resident reported having a verbal altercation with another male regarding a parking spot in the vicinity of 77 N. Centre Ave. which annoyed and alarmed him.
Property Damage:
On Aug. 31 at 9:06 a.m., a business owner on Sunrise Highway reported the front glass door of his office was damaged.
On Aug. 31 at 10:15 AM, a motorist reported his vehicle was damaged by flying debris while landscapers were working on Peninsula Boulevard.
