Arrests:

On Aug. 14 at approximately 2:50 a.m., Thomas C. Dobbins, 59, of Cairo, New York was arrested for third-degree assault at 173 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre following a reported dispute with his female roommate.

On Aug. 9, the complainant owner from Kathleen's of Donegal at 8 N. Park Ave. reported that sometime between Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 9 at 2:30 p.m., unknown person(s) removed a hinge bolt to a basement door to the business without authorization. There was no reported loss at the time of report.

Larceny:

On Aug. 9 at 9:22 p.m., a complainant from Rugby Road in Rockville Centre reported that an unknown male was observed exiting his parked vehicle and fleeing on a bicycle. The passenger side rear window of the complainant's 2008 Toyota RAV4 was damaged and a GPS valued at $100 was stolen. First Squad detectives and RCPD unit are investigating.

On Aug. 10, a complainant from Bayview Avenue in Amityville reported that unknown person(s) stole his wallet from his unlocked 1999 Toyota parked at Bally's at 60 Merrick Rd. in Rockville Centre between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

On Aug. 11, sometime between 1 p.m. and 3:35 p.m., unknown person(s) reportedly damaged the driver side front window of a 2009 Lincoln parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 11 and stole a cell phone and GPS.

On Aug. 15, a complainant from Lafayette, New Jersey reported that unknown person(s) damaged a car window and stole a GPS valued at $300 sometime between Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m. and Aug. 15 at 4:30 p.m. while the vehicle was parked in front of 1 Jefferson Ave. in Rockville Centre.  

On Aug. 12, a complainant from Maple Pointe at 260 Maple Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between July 22 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 12 at 6 a.m., unknown person(s) stole jewelry valued at $3,200 from her apartment.

Criminal Mischief:

On Aug. 12, a complainant from S. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Aug. 9 at midnight and Aug. 10 at 6 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged his 2007 Honda while it was parked in the rear of his residence. The damage consisted of scratches to the driver side of the vehicle.

On Aug. 15, the owner of Autotech Collision reported that unknown person(s) damaged the driver side window of a tow truck sometime between 2 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. while the vehicle was parked at 132-136 S. Long Beach Rd. in Rockville Centre.  

Property Damage:

On Aug. 10, a complainant from 115 Avenue, St. Albans reported that his van was damaged by unknown means while parked at 165 N. Village Ave in Rockville Centre between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

On Aug. 15, a complainant from Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the side glass door of the Rockville Diner located at 263 Sunrise Highway sometime between Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 15 at 6 a.m.

On Aug. 12, a complainant from Hempstead Avenue in Amityville reported that sometime between 12:45 a.m. and 1 a.m., he lost his wallet while in the vicinity of McFadden's Bar, located at 210 Merrick Rd. in Rockville Centre.
