Arrests:
On Aug. 2 at 3:45 a.m., Americo J Minutolo, 59, of East Rockaway was arrested in the vicinity of 2 Sunrise Hwy., Rockville Centre for driving while intoxicated, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and VTL violations after being observed operating a 2002 Ford on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
On Aug. 5, Antonio Fisher, 44, of Roosevelt was arrested for two counts of petit larceny and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property following an investigation on N. Long Beach Road where the subject was found to be in possession of a GPS reportedly stolen from a parked car on Voorhis Avenue and Knollwood Road in Rockville Centre.

On Aug. 7 at approximately 5:10 a.m., Sabine Laventure, 32, of Elmont was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations after being observed operating a 1999 Toyota on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Aug. 4, a complainant from Dartmouth Street reported that sometime between Aug. 3 at 10:15 p.m. and Aug. 4 at 7:10 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked rear window, removed the contents from a purse that was in the kitchen, and apparently exited through a rear door. First Squad detectives and RCPD unit are investigating.
On Aug. 4, a complainant from N. Forest Avenue reported that sometime between Aug. 3 at 10 p.m. and Aug. 4 at 7:30 a.m., unknown person(s) removed a window screen, entered her residence through the open office window at her residence and removed a laptop computer valued at $2,000 without permission. First Squad detectives and RCPD unit are investigating.
On Aug. 5, a complainant from Dartmouth Street reported that sometime between Aug. 3 at 8 a.m. and Aug. 5 at 3 p.m., unknown person(s) removed a window screen on the side of the house. No entry was gained and there were no proceeds reported. First Squad detectives are investigating.
Larceny:
On Aug. 4 sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., unknown person(s) reportedly stole a 2000 Range Rover motor vehicle from the driveway of a Lehigh Court residence; the keys to the stolen vehicle were reportedly removed from a 2007 Volvo parked at the same location. The stolen vehicle was recovered in front of 23 Jefferson Place in Hempstead. First Squad detectives and RCPD unit are investigating.
On Aug. 4, unknown person(s) reportedly stole a log splitter from the backyard of a Vassar Place residence. First Squad detectives are investigating.
On Aug. 7 at 10:55 p.m., a complainant from Linden Court, New City, NY, reported that sometime between 9:50 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side front window of his 2006 Hyundai parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 1 and stole a GPS device valued at $130. A witness reported observing a male in the vicinity of the motor vehicle at the time of the incident who fled on foot southbound on Merrick Road.
On Aug. 7 at 10:45 p.m., a complainant from Dourland Road, Medford reported that sometime between 7 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. unknown person(s) damaged the sun roof of his 2004 Toyota parked on Montauk Avenue in Rockville Centre and stole a GPS device valued at $200.
Unusual Incident:
On Aug. 6, a complainant from Reid Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) made four withdrawals totaling $1,010 from his checking account at an ATM in Georgia without authorization between July 30 at 3:09 p.m. and July 31 at 3:47 p.m.
Criminal Mischief:
On Aug. 6., a complainant from Ayhan's Shish Kebab at 201 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a window valued at $100 on the Sunrise Highway side of restaurant sometime between Aug. 5 at 11:15 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m.
On Aug. 7, a complainant from Ayhan's Shish Kebab 201 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a window valued at $100 on the N. Village Avenue side of restaurant sometime between Aug. 6 at 11:00 p.m. and Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m.
Investigations:
On Aug. 3, a complainant from Dorchester Road in Rockville Centre reported that her son sold jewelry to a NYC Second Hand Jewelry store without her authorization. Receipts were issued and there was determined to be no impropriety on the part of the pawn shop. NCPD CAP Squad was notified.
On Aug. 3, a complainant from Florida reported that a male subject was using a Quasar Aerospace Company account without authorization while staying at the Hampton Inn at 125 Merrick Rd. in Rockville Centre. NCPD First Squad is investigating.
Juvenile:
On Aug. 4, a complainant teacher from South Side Middle School reported that a student punched his face while at school. Subsequently, a parent of another student at SSMS reported to SSHS administration that her son had overheard the subject of the assault incident say that he was bringing a gun to school the next day. NCPD JAB detectives were investigating.
Found Property:
On Aug. 5, a black, Renthal dirt mini-bike was recovered by police personnel in the vicinity of Lincoln and S. Park avenues in Rockville Centre. The property was impounded for safekeeping.
