Crime Watch: 33 Cans of Baby Formula Stolen from CVS

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest:

On Nov. 10 at 3:45 a.m., Shara G. Johnson, 25, of Bellport, was arrested for second-degree bail jumping, false personation and unlicensed driver following a police investigation of a motor vehicle accident at 345 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Nov. 10 at 3:36 a.m., Rhamel D. Flippen, 27, of Bellport, was arrested for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a police investigation of a motor vehicle accident at 345 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Nov. 12 at 1:30 a.m., Thomas M. O’Connor, 31, of Wantagh, was arrested for DWI following a police investigation at Sunrise Highway and Montauk Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Larceny:

On Nov. 8 at 4 p.m., a complainant from E. Broadway in Long Beach reported that on Nov. 7 sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. unknown person(s) stole her wallet from a shopping cart at CVS, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

On Nov. 8 at 5:35 p.m., a complainant from S. Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that at approximately 4:30 p.m. an acquaintance stole a key and his student identification while in the vicinity of S. Park Avenue and Riverside Road in Rockville Centre.

On Nov. 8 at 3 p.m., complainant manager from CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that a male from Lehrer Avenue in Elmont attempted to take a bag of cat food from the store without authorization.

On Nov. 14 at 7:50 p.m., a complainant from Greystone Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole property that included a Panasonic camera and fishing gear from his front yard sometime between Sunday, Nov. 13 at 10 p.m. and Nov. 14 at 8 a.m.

On Nov. 13 at 1:15 p.m., a Massapequa resident reported her hand bag was stolen from the bar at Kasey’s on N. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre at approximately 12:30 a.m.

On Nov. 12 at 8 a.m., the store manager at CVS, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported that two male subjects attempted to steal an electric razor.

On Nov. 13  at 2:15 p.m., the store manager at CVS, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre, reported a male subject placed a portable TV/DVD in a bag and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

On Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m., the store manager at CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported the theft of 33 cans of baby formula by three subjects (two males and one female).

On Nov. 14 at 12:55 a.m., an Andover Road resident reported an unknown person entered her vehicle and stole $100 from the front console while it was parked in front of her home.
