Crime Watch: 3 at Rec Center Feel Ill, Brought to Hospital

Arrests
Derrick Beverly, 46, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on Aug. 13 at 3:10 p.m. and charged with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct following a police investigation at his residence.

Steven Munoz, 22, of Baldwin, was arrested on Aug. 14 at 1:18 a.m. for driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana following a police investigation in the vicinity of Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
Lenox Pascal, 37, of Freeport, was arrested on Aug. 16 at 2:28 a.m. for driving while intoxicated following a police investigation in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Christopher J. Osterman, 20, of South Hempstead, was arrested on Aug. 18 at 4:06 a.m. for driving while intoxicated following a police investigation in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
Attempted Burglary
The office manager of St. Mark’s United Church, located at 200 Hempstead Ave., reported to police on Aug. 15 at 9:44 a.m. that an unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry to the church sometime between Aug. 9 and Aug. 15.
Investigation
- Police and fire department personnel on Aug. 15 at 3:03 p.m. responded to the Rockville Centre Recreation Center, located 111 North Oceanside Rd., for a report of three persons feeling ill. The three individuals were transported to local hospitals for medical evaluations. A check of the building yielded negative results for any type of contaminants.
