Cops: TD Bank Robbed Again

Rockville Centre bank was robbed Friday by another subject, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Rockville Centre bank days after it was robbed by another man.

The Robbery Squad said a man entered TD Bank on Merrick Road at 1:57 p.m. Monday and presented a demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled and was seen heading south through the bank parking lot, cops said.

The subject is described as a white man, 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing dark clothing and a red bandana across his face.

The description is different from the subject sought in Friday’s robbery. He was described as a black man, 55-60 years old, and was 5 feet 10 inches tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark baseball cap, a dark hooded jacket, a scarf, and jeans, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
