Cops: RVC 7-Eleven Robbed Wednesday Morning

Nassau County Police are searching for a man who robbed a Rockville Centre convenience store early Wednesday.

Cops said an unknown man went to 7-Eleven on Merrick Road and demanded money from employees. They cooperated and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the subject fled east on Merrick Road.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The incident happened at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday.

The subject was described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin build, and was wearing a black hooded jacket, tan sweatpants, and black shoes at the time of the robbery.

Detectives are asking any witnesses with information about the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
