Cops: Man Beaten, Robbed Behind RVC Home

Police looking for three men in connection with a Saturday afternoon robbery.

Police are hunting three men who reportedly robbed a man on a Rockville Centre street Saturday, according to Nassau detectives.

Cops said the victim, 22, met an acquaintance at 2:50 p.m. on Shellbank Place and had a brief conversation before two other men pulled up in a car. The victim began to run away, but was caught by the three subjects behind a house on Shellbank Place, police said. The three men punched the victim and took an iPhone and cash from him, cops reported.

The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The first subject is described as a while male, about 17 years old, five feet six inches tall, short dark buzz cut hair, thin build, and was driving a white Infinity G37.

The second subject is described as a white male, 18 to 24 years old, five feet eight inches tall, and stocky build. The third subject is described as a white male, five feet nine inches tall, 18 to 24 years old, and medium build. The second and third subjects were in a gray Infinity G37, cops said.

Police are asking anyone with information no the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
