Cops Identify TD Robbery Suspect

Crime Stoppers offering reward for help finding Robert Davidson.

Nassau Crime Stoppers released the identity of the man they believe robbed TD Bank in Rockville Centre Jan. 10.

Police released a photo of Robert Davidson, 56, whom they believe was captured on surveillance video committing a robbery in Rockville Centre.

Robbery Squad detectives said Davidson took a bank slip from the counter, wrote out a note claiming he had a gun, and passed it to the teller. The teller handed cash over to him and he took off on foot on Merrick Road, cops said.

According to Rockville Centre Police reports, the subject made off with $1,304.

Three days later, an unidentified man robbed the same TD Bank. Full story here.
