Cops: Employee Scammed Bloomie's of $117K

East Garden City Bloomingdale's employee worked with accomplices to buy merch using stolen credit card information, cops said.

A Freeport man faces charges after Nassau County Police said he defrauded the East Garden City Bloomingdale's.

Detectives said Yorell Moses, 27, of Freeport, completed transactions for merchandise and gift cards for an unknown number of accomplices using stolen credit card information. Moses would also use gift cards to buy merchandise at other branches and return it for credit on his store credit card, cops said.

Moses reportedly bilked more than $117,000 between November and March, detectives said.

Moses was charged Tuesday with second-degree grand larceny. He will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.

To Joe Mahoney - Your comments are really over the top. Yes he is a thug but to say never should have been hired at such an upscale store. Get a grip on reality he was allowed to be employed and was no matter what type of store you think it is. As far a upscale ridiculous statement. Your comment about "YOUR MALL" shows you are not an asset but an A _ _ !
