Cars Struck in Huntington Parking Lot

Police: DWI charge for man who damaged eight cars and two signs on Clinton Ave. early Saturday.

Eight vehicles were damaged in the Town of Huntington municipal parking lot on Clinton Ave. early Saturday after a drunk driver lost control of his SUV, Suffolk County Police said.

James Miller, 23, of Platt Place, Huntington, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI as well as issued a summons for driving without a license.

Police said Miller was driving a 2004 Land Rover SUV in the Town of Huntington municipal parking lot when he lost control and struck two parking signs and eight unoccupied vehicles, causing damage to several of them at 12:35 a.m.

No one was injured.

Miller will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.

Maybe New York State should add all 2004-2013 Land Rover to the NYS Safe Gun Act, military assault weapons list. This was originally intended for military use, but has been modify for law abiding citizens! This time there was no harm to life, what about the next time.

I feel I should be able to own hand grenades. I love to fish but don't have the hours it takes to sit in a boat waiting for a fish to take my line. I could toss a couple of pineapples in the water, wait for them to explode, then just scoop up the fish that float to the surface with my net. I can also use them for protection when hordes of armed men invade my house. It's my right!!!
