AT&T Wireless Robbed at Gunpoint

Two suspects fled the Sunrise Highway electronics store with cash and assorted cell phones.

Nassau County police are investigating a Friday afternoon armed robbery at the AT&T Wireless store.

According to detectives, two male subjects armed with handguns entered the AT&T Wireless store located at 237 Sunrise Highway and demanded money.

A 44-year-old male employee, along with two other male employees - ages 23 and 26 - gave the suspects cash from the register and an assortment of cell phones, police reported.

The subjects fled westbound in a white vehicle.

There were no injuries reported.

The first subject is described as 5’6” tall, 23 to 24 years of age, wearing a red shirt, sunglasses and a hat.

The second subject is described as 5’11” tall, wearing a green shirt, black and white scarf, black sunglasses and a hat.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding the above crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

Apparently, it is polically incorrect to state whether these suspects were white or black. Isn't that the height of stupidity? Tell everyone what they were wearing, but don't tell anyone the color of their skin, or if they were of a particular ethnic group that might be visibly helpful in locating the perpetrators. We're just getting dumber by the minute in this country.

The Patch used to report everything. Now it only reports what it wants to I guess? Nothing reported on the 2 new Roxen Road arrests on Thursday? Why not?
