NYSDEC Superfund Program Contamination Update in RVC

The contamination continues to flow south through the village from the Avalon Bay apartments with no end in site. The village Board and The Darby Drug Corporation continue to take no action. Now the Village is confronted with another additional contaminated site at 84 North Village Avenue. The site of the old GEM Cleaners. The NYSDEC has listed the investigation under the Superfund Program .
