Arriving much earlier than usual and occurring concurrently as Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, begins Wednesday at sundown.
Here are this year’s menorah lightings:
The Malverne Jewish Center will host a lighting of the Menorah on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Malverne LIRR station.
The Village of Lynbrook’s menorah lighting will take place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on the corner of Merrick Road and Hempstead Avenue.
Nassau County will light a six-foot menorah on Monday at 6 p.m. in parking field 2 of Eisenhower Park.
Rockville Centre’s community menorah lighting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 6:15 p.m. at Temple B’nai Sholom, located at 100 Hempstead Ave.
